Mechanical Fitter/Assembler role - Permanent role. SG Controls.
Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter/Assembler with experience of working on Prototype/NPI builds? Then this could be the job for you.
As a world leading manufacturer of special purpose Machinery for their market with a list of blue chip clients that include Aerospace and leading Defence Agencies across the Globe have a rare opportunity for an experienced Prototype Fitter to join our dedicated team.
You will be using you experience in Mechanical Engineering to assemble the companies Prototypes and NPI's ensuring that the parts and engineering drawings are correct and allow the product to be rolled out to general production.
Skills and Experience:-
While no official qualification in Mechanical Engineering is required having completed one would be highly advantageous. You will be using your years of experience in a Mechanical Manufacturing environment and have worked on detailed assemblies, components and small-bore pipe fitting sheet metals with some exposure to wiring and electronic parts.

Salary is based on experience. Salary is based on 37 ½ Hour week with following overtime rates:
• Monday to Friday 1 1/3
• Saturday 1 ½
• Sunday and Holidays 2
Annually each employee has 28 days paid holiday, however because of the size of the team they can be flexible on time off and working hours if this appeals to you.
Manual Miller – Permanent role. Delta design & Engineering Ltd.
We are world leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery for a list of blue chip clients that include Aerospace and leading Defence Agencies across the Globe. We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Manual miller /tool maker to join our dedicated team. Due to the continued demand for the company’s products, we now require a Tool Room Manual Miller.
*Manufacture new component parts.
*Design and manufacture fixtures, clamps, jogs and general tooling for the manufacturing areas.
*Support any maintenance and improvement projects.
*Have completed an apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification.
*Experienced in manual milling.
*Have ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and create drawings from component parts.
*Significant amount of experience in an engineering tool room environment.

Controls system Engineer – SG Controls – Permanent
As world leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery with blue chip clients that include Governments, Aerospace and Defence agencies across the world. We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team.
You will use you skills to commission Software of control Systems for the Optical Fibre Industry including Software maintenance and design.
HND/ Degree level Electrical/Electronic or Physics.
Experience in Controls.
Ideally you will have experience/ some knowledge of the following:
- Logix 5000
-Ability to debug and programme in ladder and structured text
- Device Net and Ethernet devices
- Motion Control
-FT View and Panels
-Design user interfaces
-Furnaces RF, Graphite ,Muffle
-Motion Control Systems
-Mass Flow Controllers
Salary is based on 37 1/2 Hour week
